Experience the world’s wildlife with Cornwall’s award winning Newquay Zoo, part of the Whitely Wildlife Conservation Trust. Visit the African Savanna exhibit, home to stunning Black Wildebeest, Nyala Antelope, Waterbuck, Ostrich and strikingly beautiful zebra. View these animals roaming their enclosure from a viewing platform giving you a birds-eye view. The Philippine Species exhibit is home to the rare Visayan Warty Pig and Philippine Spotted deer; highly endangered species that will become part of the zoos successful breeding programme. The stunning Fishing Cat is another exciting arrival for the zoo. The Tropical House is an atmospheric exhibit with an open rainforest enclosure where you can spend time spotting a variety of exotic animals amongst the temple ruins. Visit the minibeasts room to see snakes, skinks, dart frogs and other creepy crawlies. Watch the otters play in the stream in the Oriental Garden, also home to the odd-looking Hornbills from Asia. Look out for beautiful red pandas, meerkats on sentry duty and penguins relaxing in their pool. As well as a large variety of unusual species, the zoo has a village farm with more familiar faces. A wild day out for all the family.
